Recognition - as approved by Finance

A voucher for something rubbish is what recognition looks like when nobody could be bothered to pay attention.

It says: someone, somewhere, approved a budget line to invest in a token gesture to be handed out at a predetermined time.

And you know what? That’s fine, but it’s not what most people actually want.

What they would prefer is to be seen, by name, for a specific thing, by someone who noticed what they did and who genuinely thought it made a difference.

That costs nothing, takes thirty seconds and will never need approval from another department.
