Never send an angry email

Friday is often the day that someone will send you an email that finds a way to push all of your buttons at once. The temptation is to respond in kind with ‘thoughts’ and ‘feelings’ of your own. Don’t.

Sure, go ahead and draft a response, then save it, walk away and come back to it in an hour. Chances are you’ll realise that sending it would have been a mistake and that you have avoided a diplomatic incident.

Sending an angry email benefits no-one, least of all you.
