Vision: The six-word test

Most vision statements fail before they start.

Not because the activity or ambition is wrong, but because nobody can remember it or can see how they will get there.

A vision statement worth having is one that people can repeat without having to find it on the intranet (6-8 words is good practice) and that they believe is possible without having to convince themselves.

A great vision statement is memorable and achievable. Does yours pass the test?
